Legislature rolls out new online commenting system

By | February 6, 2013 | Comments

A new program will allow people around the state to submit electronic comments and suggestions on bills introduced by lawmakers during the 2013 legislative session.

The pilot program can be accessed on the Legislature’s website and allows people to select a bill, indicate whether they are for or against it and add comments. The comments will then be made available to legislators.

The system will automatically connect people to the representative or senator that represents their district after entering a home address.
