New poll: Governor’s race remains tight

A new poll released today by KCTS 9 shows the race for governor remains razor tight, with Democrat Jay Inslee leading with 47.2 percent to 45.5 percent for Republican Rob McKenna among registered voters.

In the race for attorney general, Democrat Bob Ferguson has a more than 10-point lead over Republican Reagan Dunn, 44.2 percent to 32.4 percent among registered voters.

The poll shows the same-sex marriage referendum winning by 57.3 percent, and the legalization of marijuana leading with 55.8 percent among registered voters.

About one-third of voters say they’ve already mailed in their ballot, at 33.4 percent.

The survey was conducted from Oct. 18-31, with a margin of error between 3.6 and 3.9 percent.
