The candidates for governor will meet in Seattle tonight for their fourth debate starting at 9 p.m. The event between Rob McKenna and Jay Inslee is the most high-profile debate yet — it will be aired live on KOMO, KING, KIRO, KCPQ and Northwest Cable News. It will also be streamed live at komonews.com.

TVW is taping the broadcast for air later, and we’ll also post the full event on the web as soon as its available. Washington State University communications professor Glenn Johnson is the moderator, and the candidates will be questioned by a panel of TV reporters and anchors during the hour-long debate.

The gubernatorial event airs shortly after tonight’s nationally televised vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan, which starts at 6 p.m.

Also tonight: Candidates for 10th Congressional District will debate at 7 p.m. The debate between Democrat Denny Heck of Olympia and Republican Dick Muri of Steilacoom is hosted by the League of Women Voters of Thurston County and The Olympian. It will be held at the Washington Center for Performing Arts in Olympia.

TVW is live webstreaming the event (you can watch it here), and we’re also taping the event for later broadcast. Allyson Brooks of the League of Women Voters is the moderator.
