Today:

- The House passed a bill banning texting or talking on the phone while driving for teens — and making texting-while-driving a primary offense for adults.

-  Olympia Newswire reported today that part of the House budget proposal includes taking student fees from various university, community and technical college accounts.

- The House passed a bill to ban BPA in sippy cups, kids’ food containers and sports bottles. The portion of the bill affecting kids’ products goes into effect July 2011, but sports bottles get an extra year.

- The Wall Street Journal posted unemployment data from all 50 states for the past two years.

- Rep. Bruce Dammeier told me in the Off the Set interview what he thinks about government reform, taxes and session priorities.

- On The Impact, host Jessica Gao talked to Reps. Bruce Dammeier, Jeff Morris and Ross Hunter as well as Sens. Rosemary McAuliffe and Randy Gordon about the budget, taxes, education and the week-and-a-day of session remaining. Here are some more of her thoughts on the interviews.
